Full Description

July 1991: six small scoops with charcoal rich fill and numerous burnt flints, circa 30cm/40cm diameter by 0-20cm/0-30cm deep. Excavated during watching brief of water pipeline route over 80m length, following mechanical stripping of topsoil. No dateable finds, date & function uncertain (S1). Compare with NAC 040 & IPS 244.
