Full Description

Site of 1930s labour camp -see Post Medieval record.

October 1991: South portion lightly rotavated. Fieldwalking located 6 burnt flints (?date), 1 patinated flake (Prehistoric) and two sherds Prehistoric flint tempered pottery (possibly Iron Age) from TL 8112 8508 and 8107 8502 (S1).

Note other Iron Age finds from High Lodge Hill to South - see STN 008.

2013: Flint flakes found metal detecting, (S2).
