Full Description
Triangular bronze mount with a trefoil termination, possibly a book clasp. Two rivet holes at narrow end, two or three at the broad end, where there is a short right-angled flange. Decorated with a lion passant with its head pointing upwards (fitting the triangular shape). C11 box or book mount, similar examples from Ixworth (S3) and Hartest.
