Full Description
Small moat with an irregular oval island circa 16m x 10m, situated 140m to the N of Rishangles Lodge. Shown as tree covered on the old 1:2500 map. Mentioned as a dovecote moat 1924 (S1).
Hilltop position, wet ditch, low mound covered with trees and scrub, some rubble dumped in the S side of the moat (S2). Tithe Apportionment of 1840 records this as `Mount', with `Dove House Piece' to the N and `Dove House Meadow' to the S (S3).
