Summary

31 March 1992: Building worker (presently employed by Haymills) reported how, several years ago, that he had found lots of hammered (Med?) silver coins, some cut, when laying a new road near the new cemetery opposite the Half Moon public house (S1).

Full Description

31 March 1992: Building worker (presently employed by Haymills) reported how, several years ago, that he had found lots of hammered (Med?) silver coins, some cut, when laying a new road near the new cemetery opposite the Half Moon public house (S1). Description probably relates to new housing estate adjoining & to SW of cemetery at TL 722 747 but may relate to path laid across small triangular park at TL 7200 7483.
