Full Description

1992: Medieval pottery located during monitoring 5m wide band stripped of topsoil for water mains replacement. Pottery recovered from pre-stripping survey (discarded) and from hillwash deposit. Finds listed as :- 1 rim, 2 base and 14 body sherds medieval coarse ware and 2 body sherds Med glazed ware. Also 1 body sherd of early medieval coarse ware. Date range mainly C13/C14 (S1).
