"Brick kilns" shown within a square enclosure shown on a map of 1701; the kilns are shown as two long roofed structures in the middle of the enclosure. In the adjacent wooded area called The Clamps a brick pit is shown at TM 4422 7733, with the notation "Here they now Dig Brick Earth" (S1).
