Full Description
Finds scatter of fragments of flint gritted `EIA' pottery and worked flints led to excavation by Bill Allsop in circa 1960. He located 'chalk floor' and very large pieces of flint gritted pottery, in the N corner area of field, adjoining LKH 001. Part of LKH 135 BA scatter? Finds later buried in his back garden at 8 Cemetery Road - see Misc. No further details. Antler short ?'knife handle' also found on this site, or on LKH 001?, by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s).
Adjoins similar scatter of flint gritted pottery and worked flint in next field (Brammel meadow) - see LKH 001 (S1).

Rom layer covered by circa 3 feet of blown sand on same field (S1).
