Full Description

Hungers Green: marked and named as 'Hunger Green' on J Hodskinson's Map of Suffolk 1783 (S1). Still (1993) survives as a grass green. Possible tenement enclosure on the east side; sherd of Medieval pottery and one or two oyster shells on the field edge on the NW side suggest the former presence of tenements on that side as well.
Building shown within small enclosure on the east side on the 1st edition OS Map of 1837 (printing of 1878).
