Full Description

Fish pond or ornamental canal, now infilled but shown on OS 1:10560 map immediately to the N of and parallel with th demolished Chediston Hall (see CHD 057).
Pond has a formal long rectangular shape and is probably a C18 garden canal. Named on the OS 1:10560 map as `Fish Pond'. Shown on an aerial photograph in (S1), where it is referred to as `traces of a moat'.
Pond shown on Tithe Map of 1838 (S2).
