Full Description
1993: Series of nine lines of trial trenches excavated as part of assessment survey prior to construction of supermarket etc. Only feature located and half sectioned was a small (circa 1m wide), shallow (circa 16cm deep), pit filled with charcoal. The clay subsoil at the edges of the pit was partially burnt. No finds were recovered. Details in (S1)(S2).
