Barton Hall Staunch (site of), part of former Lark Navigation. 1959: Island for flash lock/Staunch shown on OS 1:10560 map. 1975: S channel isolating island no longer on 1:10,000 OS map. Circa 1980: `Nothing remains of this Staunch' (S1).
