Full Description

Circular mound shown on OS maps. Adjoining field boundary (now removed), which bends slightly (to avoid mound?) on 1950s map (S1). Earlier OS maps not examined.
June 1986: Appears as isolated uncultivated area circa 30m across with arable fields on AP (S2).

2015: examination of OS digital layer (county3, 1920's edition) shows a pit or pond in this area, not a mound.
