Full Description

Dovecote belonging to the former Ousden Hall. Square flint building with red brick dressings, pyramidal slated roof with a timber cupola (blocked). There are four blocked round windows, the one above the doorway has a round stone panel with a carving of a lion passant, possibly of an earlier date. Dovecote is said to be 18th century in date (S1), however, it is not shown on an estate map of the 1830s, but is shown on the 1885 OS 25in scale map (S3).
