Full Description
Sudbury mint, established in LSax period, still in use in C12. Exact location within town unknown. Coins include those for Aethelred (AD 979- 1016), Cnut (AD 1016-1035); Edward the Confessor (AD 1042-1066); William I (AD 1066-1087); William II (AD 1083-1100), Henry I (AD 1100-1136); Stephen (AD 1135-1139)(S2).
