Full Description
Sudbury mint. Established in LSax period, still in use in C12. Exact location within town unknown. Includes coins of the following: Aethelred (AD 979-1016); Cnut (AD 1016-1035); Edward the Confessor (AD 1042- 1066); William I (AD 1066-1087); William II (AD 1087-1100); Henry I (AD 1100- 1135); Stephen (AD 1135-1139). Moneyer: Folcwine, Wulfric, Osbern, Edward, Gilebert, Godimer, Sigar (S2)(R1)(R2).
