Full Description
October 1993: Series of 14 assessment trenches on proposed new car park and bus station site. The trenches showed truncated subsoil on the lower part (northern) of the site and revealed Med pits and a well behind No. 90 Risbygate Street, a flint and mortar wall footing behind No. 94 and possible Med occupation material in the northern plot behind No. 97 (S1).
