Full Description

1994: Small (9.6cms long) tranchet axe. Pale/medium rust brown patina/staining. Cutting edge probably re-knapped (& unpatinated) to reveal grey/black flint. Found along W edge of field adjoining lane between Long Green and A143 around TM 0699 7703 (not at NGR TM 0705 7720 cited on Diss Museum entry form)(S1,S2).
