Full Description

`Circular earth bank with a diameter of about 10-12 metres and what could have been a gap in the bank' (S1). Location is on outskirts of village and suggests possible animal pound though note area is largely pitted ('Old Gravel Pit's) on 1880s OS map so may be semi-industrial in nature.
