Full Description

Two part-polished flint axes found together at a depth of 40-50cm while building an extension to industrial unit (S1).
Axe 1 is 12.3cm long, blade 5.2 cm wide, weight 0.16kg. Polish confined to blade area. Ground facet to sides. Gloss from hafting wear in the centre. Unpatinated.
Axe 2 is 11.4cm long, blade 4.5cm wide, weight 0.17kg. Polish confined to blade. Gloss from hafting wear in the centre. Unpatinated (S1).
Following parish boundary change findspot now in Kesgrave (rather than Playford) parish.
