Full Description

Park associated with Hardwick House. Boundary and details in (S1). Map of 1663 shows the house, separate (stable?) buildings, a dovehouse to the west, and an 'almes house' to the north-west (all now gone) within park (not named as such, and parts shown as arable on 1810 estate map). HBSMR mapping after 1892 OS mapping (see S1). The early 19th century northern gatehouse/lodge survives as a Listed Building.
