Full Description
Clare Brick Works (and kilns), 1892-1916, marked on early 20th century maps. Now partly built over.
Operated by William George Jarvis 1892-1916; said to be at Clare at TL 769 469 according to (S1) but not shown at cited grid reference on 1886 25" OS map (cited location actually at Wentford in Poslingford parish). Precise location plotted after 1904 OS map.
Formerly also recorded in error under Poslingford as PSG Misc.
