Full Description

Lead pilgrim's ampulla, scallop shell with pierced handles on either side. (?From Walsingham) C13 or C14 (S1). Found approximately 100m from two Med pot scatters, SEC 0036 and 037.
Note by B Spencer per J Newman, "Widely distributed type with a distinct westerly bias, ?from Salisbury" (S2).
