Full Description

Ring ditch, single, circa 30m diameter, in field with remains of field boundaries, SUT 066. Ring ditch appears to be respected by curving (field?) boundary ditch on S & E sides (S1).
A probable Bronze Age round barrow is visible as the cropmark of a ring ditch at TM 29814642 on the photograph mentioned above (S1). The ring ditch has a diameter of approximately 24m. The gap in the southern side of the ring ditch is due to the poor quality of the cropmark in that area. Its size suggests that it may be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. (S1-S3)
