Full Description
A folly built to be seen from Tattingstone Place, probably in 1790 (date cut in a chimney brick). "Two older cottages were given a new flint front with church windows, and a third was added in the form of a flint church tower. On the S side the tower has no wall at all, as this is not visible from the house, and the cottages have their normal brick work" (S1).
