Full Description
Finborough Road brickworks. Operated by Fisons since 1823:- William F, 1823- 1839; Joseph F, 1844-1846; Mrs J F 1855; Mrs Catherine Olive F, 1858-1904; C O F Ltd, 1908-1912; Fison & Co, 1912-1939 (when owned by Gammer)(S1). 1994: Largely built over with modern housing. Former pits survive on E side as water filled ponds and as modern tennis courts (S2).
