Full Description

A stag's head handle, green in colour, heavy for size, a ridged decoration to top of head, iron stain on reverse and slight detail to ears. There is no detail of eyes or mouth and the reverse appears rough cast compared with the front. It was found while gardening in Beverly Court. Rom or Med ? (S1).
