Full Description

Site of bridge crossing the River Linnet (S1). Date of construction unknown. Not shown by OS 1st edition map of 1836 though crossing point still visible on OS maps of late 19th and early 20th centuries.
March 2013: report and photographs of in-situ bricks surviving in bank (S2) - appear to have slight frogs - probably C19th and therefore representing repair/rebuild of earlier structure.
