Full Description

Brick kiln (& works?) at Methersgate named as `Brick kiln' on OS 1st edition map at TM 285 465 approximately (S1). According to (S2) at TM 284 466. Operated by Charles Pleasance in 1844 (S2). Methersgate Quay and dock just to the W, was probably used to ship the products.
Previously recorded as SUT Misc.
