Full Description
July 1994: Pit 1.6m wide and 1m deep, exposed in monitoring trench cut to determine suitability of ground for building. Only a single fragment of bone, from close to the top, was found in the pit. Details in (S1). Within area of Rom finds scatter - see Rom.
October 1997: Pit discovered during Lakenheath Dormitories Conversions. 2 sherds of ancient roman pottery discovered. (S1).
