Full Description
1994: Scatter of Med pottery found fieldwalking (on several occasions) on W side of Spears Hill/Wortham Long Green and Glebe Farm. Residue from Green Edge settlement (?).
Finds consist of: 35 body, 5 base carination and 8 rim sherds pottery; 2 possibly of C15 date, rest C13/C14. Details in (S2).
Further material found by Redgrave Fieldwalking Group near the entrance to the field in 1995 - mainly unglazed ware of C13-C14 date, but also some part- glazed LMed sherds (S3). Also Preh.
