Full Description
1994: Fieldwalking survey by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)', located scatter of Rom pottery and tile consisting of 11 sherds shell `gritted'; 6 sherds from Horningsea type storage vessel; circa 230 greyware sherds; 2 oxidised sherds; 2 box tile fragments; 7 definite and 15 probable tegula fragments, one with a signature. Also c.70 misc brick/ tile fragments, some possible daub, and 6 fragments of highly fired & reduced baked clay. One coarse sandstone quern fragment. Details in (S1). Also 1 PMed tile fragment and 3 Med sherds. Also Preh.
