Full Description
Bridge shown on Hodskinson's 1783 map (S1) crossing tidal creek in Bawdsey marshes. Construction date unknown but probably connected to a building of coastal defence bank along River Deben. Reclamation of saltmarsh was carried out in the C16/C17 (S2). A bridge still exists at this location.
