Full Description

Low oval mound approximately 5m long, 3m wide and c.40cm high, located S of FC ride in recently felled and replanted FC plantation. Situated along NW-SE axis. Furrows for replanting conifers had stopped just short of mound - respected by later planting. Possibly a small pillow mound within Wangford Warren. Tithe map records all this part of Wangford as warren (S1).
Possibly named `Pole Hill' - see WNG Misc.
