Full Description
Area of Birch Avery (S1), formerly part of larger Ancient Woodland (as shown on Hodskinson's 1783 map) known as Assington Thicks. Birch Avery now converted to arable. For surviving parts of Assington Thicks see ASN 011, Little Cornard 018 and Newton 005.
