Full Description
Dovehouse Close - situated N of (& associated with?) French Hall.
On 1838/1842 tithe plot 119 is named Dovehouse Close and includes a small square building with may be the dovecote (S1). The same(?) building is still shown is still shown on the OS 1958 map at TL 6951 6419 (although it is not shown on OS maps of 1880s to 1926) (S3), but has gone on the 1975 map (S2).
