Full Description

Bridge shown on Bowen's 1755 and Hodskinson's 1783 maps (S1)(S2). Construction date unknown. Precise location and history not checked. Over Flowton Brook. Erected by the County. Described in 1880 as `segmental brick arch, of 14 feet chord, brick arched floor of two segments, brick parapets and coping. Roadway, 20 feet 4 inches wide. Wood post and rail guards at each end' (S3).
