Full Description
Small moated site in a field to the north of Spring Farm. Shown as complete, rectangular, with an entrance causeway on the S side, but unoccupied on the tithe map of 1839.
OS 1: 2500 map, 1904 edition, shows the E and W arms being wet, the W and N arms as being infilled with scrub.
Modern 1:10,000 map showsn an L-shaped piece of water representing the S and E arms (S1).
Site is now overgrown and there is a spring in the NE corner which is covered by a modern structure (S2).
