Full Description
Early Stour Navigation barge [in Gipping Navigation] with steam engine located in bank of River Gipping below water level. Recorded by Fred Bridges when water level lowered (for insertion of new dam?) in early 1990s(?). For drawings/photographs and other details see Fred Bridges.
Location approximate (needs verifying), after verbal description, said to be on Rushbrooks (E) bank of river. Known to have been sunk circa 1926-1930 (S1).
