Full Description
Two fields marked on 1840 Tithe map as `Brick Clamp', field 232 (arable), and `Brick Clamp pasture' field 239, (pasture). Track at edge of field leads to it. Nothing except track and pit on 1904 1:2500 OS map and nothing at all on 1838 1st ed 1 inch map.
A brick kiln/works is listed in directories as operating at Gazeley by William Death between 1855 and 1858 (S2).
