Extract from the Inquisition of Ninths of 1341 - Aldringh'm: Item tithes of hay and turbary valued at 10s per annum (S1).
Location of turbary unknown but probably on N bank of Hundred River, possibly at `The Meare', Thorpeness (?, may have been separate parish); S & W of Birds Farm, or, possibly, at `The Fens' - see ARG 006.
Probably 'The Meare' (see ADB 160) which was mapped in the Elizabethan period (S2).
