Full Description

1995: Widespread metal detected and fieldwalked Rom scatter, over circa 350m by 300m area. Finds listed as six C3 & C4 bronze coins; circa 150 sherds pottery, including Samian; silver octagonal finger ring. Details and drawing in parish file (S1).
1998: Six coins and a bronze figurine fragment of Roman date discovered. Post medieval finds on same site include coins, a buckle, a button and a conical lead weight (S2).
1997: Range of Roman artefacts includin 18 C1 -C4 coins; a bronze brooch fragment; a bronze terminal; a lead loop terminal; lead weights; pottery including Samian. Details in finds report (S3).
