Full Description

Tip of blade (from memory circa 3cms long) with high angular midrib, almost certainly form spearhead, re-used with butt end heavily rounded and polished in antiquity (uniform surface colour/patination all over). Possibly re-used as a burnisher/polisher. Purchased from Granta Antiques amongst job lot of Misc fragments of all periods (from variety of sites?) by Mick Yates in 1995. Findspot unknown, probably Cambridgeshire, possibly Suffolk (S1).
