Full Description

December 1994: Metal detector find, from beside boundary ditch, of small fragment of silver disc/saucer(?) brooch with excised gilded decoration, catchplate (bent and damaged) on reverse (S1)(S2).
A further five pieces of this(?) item are said to have been found by another detector user(s?) in the same area - HVH 029? (330m apart and in different fields!).
