Full Description
Site of a house on the western edge of Lineage Wood, shown on a map of 1820 (S1) and on the tithe map of 1839 (S2). The tithe apportionment names it as a cottage in the occupation of John Hawkin and owned by Sir Hyde Parker. A well associated with the site still survives (S3).
