Full Description
Two (fish) weirs on the Lark given to Bury Abbey by Robert Canevas of Barton Mills - "the whole water running between Mildenhall and Barton with the two lashers (weirs) of Lodemuth and Kemesingford". Leased as a fishery by the abbey to a tenant for 6 shillings a year. The weirs were used for setting fish traps (S1).
