1086: 1 mill is recorded at Freckenham in the Domesday survey. 1292: Assessment of revenues of manors belonging to Bishop of Rochester records two mills to the annual value of 40 shillings (S1)(R1)(R2). 1347: Two mills are listed as titheable (S1)(R3).
