Full Description

Small circular moat with a circular island, situated to the south of the Houghton Hall moat (CAV 005). Shown on the 1848 tithe map (but with the central island shown in error as water) as part of `Home Pasture' and partly set into an area of trees (?an orchard)(S1).
Probably the site of a dovecote.
