Full Description

Plantation, in former open heathland, named warren cover on 1836 OS map (S1). Now in Kings Forest and named Warren Covert (S2) - slightly enlarged westwards. Not shown on Hodskinson's map of 1783. Boundary probably delineated by earthwork bank? - site not visited.
