Full Description

Cropmark of causewayed(?) ring ditch, circa 25m in diameter, with opening to S (S1).
A ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark to the south-east of Bucklesham Hall, Bucklesham parish. At on average 1.5 metres the ditch is relatively narrow for a ring ditch of this diameter, approximately 30 metres. It may be the remains of a circular enclosure, possibly associated with the field system recorded in BUC 080, but is more likely to be the a ditch enclosing a round barrow of Bronze Age date. No traces of possible causeways were noted. (S2)
